Roses Care & Tips

  • Fresh water

    Check the vase water daily and replace it every few days, or sooner if it becomes cloudy.

  • Flower food

    If flower food is provided, follow the package directions when refreshing the vase water.

  • Remove lower leaves

    Keep leaves below the waterline removed to help keep the water cleaner.

  • Trim the stems

    Recut the stems at an angle before placing the roses in fresh water. Trimming a small amount can help improve water uptake.

  • Placement

    Keep roses in a cool indoor location away from direct sunlight, heating vents, fireplaces and cold drafts.

  • Helpful tip

    If a rose begins to droop, recut the stem and place it back into clean, fresh water. Keeping the vase clean and the water fresh can help extend vase life.
