Light: Place your Monstera in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light, but stronger indirect light will usually support healthier growth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may scorch the leaves.

Watering: Water when the top layer of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain and avoid leaving the plant sitting in standing water.

Temperature: Monsteras prefer a warm indoor environment. Keep the plant away from cold drafts, air-conditioning vents and sudden temperature changes.

Humidity: Moderate indoor humidity is usually suitable, although Monsteras appreciate slightly higher humidity when indoor air becomes dry.

Leaf care: Gently wipe the large leaves with a damp cloth from time to time to remove dust and help keep them looking healthy.

Helpful tip: Yellowing leaves can sometimes indicate overwatering, while dry or curling leaf edges may be a sign that the plant needs more consistent moisture or humidity. Check the soil before watering rather than following a fixed schedule.
